VISEE is a design studio based in Stuttgart, Germany, specialising in visual identity and communication design and translating challenging ideas, values and communication issues into powerful and characteristic design solutions. Matthias Seeburger, the creative director and CEO, started his career as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, working for different agencies. Today, he places the same value on selecting the right typeface and paper quality as well as on implementing new digital media as a natural part of any design solution to create modern brands.

What is your design philosophy?
Touch, inspire and simplify complexity – individually.

Which three adjectives best describe your award-winning project?
Urban. Powerful. Emotional.

Who or what is your biggest source of inspiration?
Individuals, contradictions, freakiness. No matter if it’s human, cultural or derives from nature – it comes from life. And, actually, there is a lot of fantastic creative stuff out there to be inspired by and about.

How do you stand out from the crowd?
With a sense for simplicity, but with a playful touch and visual punchlines.
